NeueResidency: Did this all really happen?

We still have a reverberating echo in us from the days at the residency. We left Italy feeling inspired by the conversations and transformative experiences we shared. What really stuck with us: the stories and learnings from passion-driven venture building. The infectious energy of individuals who dedicate themselves to build something that truly comes from their within.

What art and entrepreneurship have in common is the active search for something that sets us on fire. We step out to seek a vehicle of expression to bring our vision to life. We know that only the technical means of art and entrepreneurship can be taught, not the subject itself. So with both, we never exactly see whether we’re on the right track – because there is no track. We experience the humbling process of starting as a beginner again and again.

Creative Entrepreneurship Distilled

So what is Creative Entrepreneurship? It’s a movement that doesn’t separate the business and the creative side. Together, they fuel each other’s growth, to realise their full impact on shaping the future. It’s a unity where creative expression becomes the universal term for something that is called life. Walter Gropius once said, “A new world needs a new type of designer”. We say, “A new world needs a new type of entrepreneur”.

Berlin Chapter Launch: We are excited to launch our first local chapter soon. At the core of NeueHaus is creating an environment to build genuine relationships. And in doing that, nothing is more powerful than face-to-face interactions with a curated group of like-minded individuals. In line with the research behind Dunbar’s number, we limit local chapters to 150 members, the cognitive ideal number to build and maintain close relationships within a network.
